Not sure what to do in Donosti? We organize guided tastings from Monday to Sunday at our store. There are 4 different visits: around cheese, cider, cured meats, and honey. Choose the one that interests you most and check the day and time options to buy tickets, or view the calendar by clicking here.

Duration: 1 hour. Price: adults €11, children 6-12 years €6, children 0-5 years free.

Mahala cheese tasting.

In Euskal Herria, many varieties of cheese are produced: with sheep’s milk, goat’s milk, cow’s milk… In terms of shapes, textures, and blends, we find endless possibilities: fresh, blue, cured, smoked, creamy cheeses, …

In this cheese tasting, we will try the cheeses we produce at Mahala (Leaburu, Gipuzkoa): goat cheese, semi-cured cow cheese, Orexa blue cheese, and Idiazabal cheese. We will learn about the peculiarities of each one, immerse ourselves in the production process, and of course, we will hear the history of our farmhouse and the Basque farmhouses!

Tasting of Euskal Herria ciders.

We will analyze the diversity of flavors and aromas offered by Basque cider, from the driest and most acidic to the sweetest and fruitiest.

In this tasting, we will try cider from the kupela (as in cider houses), in bottle and in juice. We will learn about the peculiarities of each one, immerse ourselves in the production process, and of course, we will hear the history of our farmhouse and the Basque farmhouses!
